I had an issue a few years ago where my suitcase exploded open on the airport baggage belt. I had one more flight to go and had to by an overpriced airport suitcase just to get home. I just travelled to Australia last week and brought this with me as a just in case. It ended up having many unexpected used like attaching my phone and switch to the plane food tray to watch and also to strap my bags together while walking the airport and streets. I will always travel with this now.
I was selected to try this out and I personally haven’t had the chance to get , as I have been working and getting ready to go camping. But I’ll try it once we get back!
I was not sure about how I feel about this item we unboxed it. Im so use to using zip ties i was not sure how this would hold up. Upon testing it i was pleasantly surprised how well it secure the items and strong it was. It was also easy to use. Best of all it is reusable. I definitely recommend this! I also loved the colour!
Influenster was kind enough to send me a 650mm CLUTCH Tension Strap to try out and, so far, it has come in very handy! The strap is a very appealing olive green in color, and consists of a very strong and moderately stretchable and flexible rubber material, with a buckle that is made from glass-filled nylon.
I was a little unsure at first, because I am used to products with buckles that also have some sort of additional clasp to help reinforce the strap to ensure that it cannot come undone, but the CLUTCH strap does not need one. You simply wrap the strap around whatever you need to tie or secure, slide the strap through the buckle, pull the strap to your desired tightness, and hook the appropriate hole on the nylon buckle pin. That's it - you're good to go! The angle of the pin helps ensure that the strap won't come undone, and the material is not slippery, so it does not slide around at all.
I used my CLUTCH strap for various tasks over the past few weeks, and it has stood up to plenty of pressure and all kinds of rain. We've had 2 solid weeks of rain so I have not had many opportunities for photos, but one of my favorite uses was to secure some loose tools to a socket set toolbox for organization and easy carrying/transportation to a jobsite, so that I did not have to take an additional toolbox or toss my tools into a bag, and it worked like a charm! I was worried while I was setting the tools up that something might find a way to come loose and fall out after I'd secured them but that turned out to be a non-issue. The strap is so easy to tighten, and it stays in place!
I definitely look forward to putting my CLUTCH strap up to some more tests, particularly in the winter, to see if it stands up to its all-weather claims! So far so good, though, and I will be highly recommending CLUTCH straps to my friends!!
